Grafana Loki

Send logs to Grafana Loki for efficient log aggregation and querying.

Prerequisites

  • Loki instance (self-hosted or cloud)
  • Network access to Loki endpoint

Setup Instructions

Step 1: Identify Loki Endpoint

  1. Note your Loki push API endpoint
  2. Configure authentication if required

Step 2: Configure Destination in Datable

  1. Navigate to Destinations in Datable
  2. Select Grafana Loki
  3. Provide configuration:
    • Destination Name: A descriptive name
    • Endpoint: Loki push API URL
    • Authentication: Basic auth or API key if required
    • Tenant ID: Multi-tenant identifier (optional)
  4. Click Save

Configuration Options

  • Labels: Configure stream labels
  • Batch Settings: Batch size and timeout
  • Compression: Enable snappy compression
  • Timestamp: Configure timestamp field

Troubleshooting

Logs Not Appearing

  • Verify endpoint URL
  • Check authentication
  • Review label configuration

Out of Order Errors

  • Ensure timestamps are correct
  • Check time synchronization
  • Review batch settings
