New Relic OpenTelemetry ​

Send OpenTelemetry data to New Relic for application performance monitoring.

Prerequisites ​

  • New Relic account
  • License key

Setup Instructions ​

Step 1: Get New Relic License Key ​

  1. In New Relic, navigate to API Keys
  2. Copy your license key
  3. Note the appropriate endpoint for your region

Step 2: Configure Destination in Datable ​

  1. Navigate to Destinations in Datable
  2. Select New Relic OTEL
  3. Provide configuration:
    • Destination Name: A descriptive name
    • License Key: Your New Relic license key
    • Endpoint: OTLP endpoint for your region
    • Data Type: Traces, metrics, or logs
  4. Click Save

Configuration Options ​

  • Compression: Enable gzip compression
  • Headers: Add custom headers
  • Batch Settings: Configure batching
  • Resource Attributes: Add metadata

Troubleshooting ​

Data Not Appearing ​

  • Verify license key
  • Check endpoint URL for your region
  • Review data format

Authentication Errors ​

  • Confirm license key is active
  • Check account permissions
  • Verify endpoint configuration
