PagerDuty ​

Integrate with PagerDuty to create incidents and trigger alerts based on events in your data pipeline.

Prerequisites ​

  • PagerDuty account with service configured
  • Integration key from PagerDuty service

Setup Instructions ​

Step 1: Create PagerDuty Integration ​

  1. In PagerDuty, navigate to your service
  2. Add an integration and select "Events API v2"
  3. Copy the Integration Key

Step 2: Configure Destination in Datable ​

  1. Navigate to Destinations in Datable
  2. Select PagerDuty
  3. Provide configuration:
    • Destination Name: A descriptive name
    • Integration Key: Your PagerDuty integration key
    • Severity Mapping: Map log levels to PagerDuty severities
  4. Click Save

Configuration Options ​

  • Event Grouping: Define deduplication keys
  • Severity Mapping: Map data severity to PagerDuty levels
  • Custom Details: Include additional context in incidents
  • Auto-Resolution: Automatically resolve incidents

Troubleshooting ​

Incidents Not Creating ​

  • Verify integration key is valid
  • Check PagerDuty service is not in maintenance mode
  • Review event payload format

Duplicate Incidents ​

  • Configure appropriate deduplication keys
  • Review grouping settings
