Sumo Logic ​

Forward data to Sumo Logic for cloud-native logging and analytics.

Prerequisites ​

  • Sumo Logic account
  • HTTP Source Collector configured

Setup Instructions ​

Step 1: Create HTTP Source in Sumo Logic ​

  1. In Sumo Logic, create a new HTTP Source
  2. Copy the generated HTTP Source URL

Step 2: Configure Destination in Datable ​

  1. Navigate to Destinations in Datable
  2. Select Sumo Logic HTTP
  3. Provide configuration:
    • Destination Name: A descriptive name
    • Collector URL: HTTP Source URL from Sumo Logic
    • Source Category: Category for organizing data
    • Source Name: Identify the data source
  4. Click Save

Configuration Options ​

  • Compression: Enable data compression
  • Custom Metadata: Add fields and tags
  • Batch Settings: Configure batch size
  • Retry Logic: Set retry parameters

Troubleshooting ​

Data Not Appearing ​

  • Verify HTTP Source URL is correct
  • Check collector is not disabled
  • Review firewall settings

Rate Limiting ​

  • Monitor Sumo Logic ingestion limits
  • Adjust batch size if needed
