New Relic Agent and OTel Setup Guide ​

To start sending Datable data into S3, you will need an License Key.

Step-by-Step ​

Here's a step-by-step guide to getting a New Relic License key:

1. Log in to New Relic: Log in to your New Relic account. Once logged in, click on the account dropdown in the top righ. Select "License keys" from the menu

2. Create a new License key On the API keys page, click "Create a key. Choose the key type "Ingest License Key". Give your key a name. Select the appropriate access levels, and click "Create key". Copy and save your License key. The new key will be displayed only once. Click "Done" when you've saved the key.

3. Enter the API key into a Datable export Navigate to the pipeline you wish to export data from. Add an export step and select the "New Relic Agent" or "New Relic OTel" option. Paste your License key, and click "Save".

Head back to your New Relic account, and you should start to see the data flowing!
