Uptrace ​

Send distributed tracing and metrics data to Uptrace for APM and observability.

Prerequisites ​

  • Uptrace account or self-hosted instance
  • DSN from Uptrace project

Setup Instructions ​

Step 1: Get Uptrace DSN ​

  1. In Uptrace, navigate to your project
  2. Copy the DSN from project settings

Step 2: Configure Destination in Datable ​

  1. Navigate to Destinations in Datable
  2. Select Uptrace
  3. Provide configuration:
    • Destination Name: A descriptive name
    • DSN: Your Uptrace DSN
    • Service Name: Identify your service
  4. Click Save

Configuration Options ​

  • Resource Attributes: Add metadata
  • Batch Settings: Configure batching
  • Compression: Enable compression
  • Sampling: Configure trace sampling

Troubleshooting ​

Traces Not Appearing ​

  • Verify DSN is correct
  • Check service name
  • Review sampling configuration

Connection Errors ​

  • Confirm endpoint accessibility
  • Check TLS configuration
  • Review firewall settings
