Sentry ​

Send error events and performance data to Sentry for application monitoring.

Prerequisites ​

  • Sentry account (cloud or self-hosted)
  • DSN (Data Source Name) from Sentry project

Setup Instructions ​

Step 1: Get Sentry DSN ​

  1. In Sentry, navigate to your project settings
  2. Find the DSN under Client Keys
  3. Copy the DSN

Step 2: Configure Destination in Datable ​

  1. Navigate to Destinations in Datable
  2. Select Sentry
  3. Provide configuration:
    • Destination Name: A descriptive name
    • DSN: Your Sentry DSN
    • Environment: Environment name (production, staging, etc.)
    • Release: Version identifier (optional)
  4. Click Save

Configuration Options ​

  • Event Filtering: Filter which events to send
  • Sample Rate: Configure sampling
  • Tags: Add custom tags
  • Context: Include additional context

Troubleshooting ​

Events Not Appearing ​

  • Verify DSN is correct
  • Check project is active
  • Review rate limits

Missing Context ​

  • Ensure context data is included
  • Check field mappings
  • Review privacy settings
